Dr. Thomas 'received her Doctor of Arts in the Humanities from Clark Atlanta University, her Master's in Education degree from Georgia State University, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College. Community Activism. Currently an Adjunt Professor at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, the arts and politics have all been large components of Dr. Thomas' career. Dr. Thomas has worked with the City of Atlanta Municipal Court as a program manager assisting victims of domestic violence, as a trainer with the City of Atlanta, as a trainer with Delta Air Lines, and as an instructor in the Atlanta Public School system. She is the Executive Director of 'Footsoldiers: Class of 1964,' a documentary on her political life. In addition, Dr. Thomas has always had a passion for fashion and skin care. She founded Georgianne's Skin Treats after surviving breast cancer in 2002. She was compelled to dust off her dreams deferred, and committed to making them a reality. So, she asked God for a second chance. First, she finished the Doctor of Arts degree, with a concentration in French Literature, in 2006. Then, she created Georgianne's Skin Treats. Dr. Thomas worked in the beauty and hair care industry as a sideline pursuit in the 1960s and 1970s while she taught French in the public school system in Georgia. The Life & Motivation of a distinguished gentleman Trooper Harold S. Cole - 92 year old 'Original Buffalo Soldier - 9th U. S. (Horse) Cavalry Regiment, U. S. Army, and U. S. Airforce - born in North Pelham, New York in 1924. In December of 1941, War was declared. Trooper Cole enlisted in 1942 and was assigned to Troop F of the 9th Cavalry, a segregated black regiment with black enlisted men and white officers. In 1944, the Army disband the 2nd Cavalry Division which included the 9th & 10th Cavalry Regiments. Following the War, Trooper Cole enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served as Crew Chief on many types of aircraft. In 1969, he retired and begin working for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation which he has since retired. Trooper Cole, once enjoyed managing a condominium complex with 190 units in Van Nuys, California. Trooper Cole currently lives in the Atlanta metro area, as for his military career - he indicates his first 'Love' will always be for the Buffalo Soldiers, the 9th & 10th Cavalry Regiments both were proud - excellent fighting untis.'
